Briefing Session on the Management Trainee Program with the Open University – January 4, 2018

There would be about 8,000 new hotel rooms in the next two year, however there are continuously a labour shortage problem in the hotel industry of Hong Kong. The labour shortage is not only a problem of the hotel industry, but also a resistance of the development of the whole travel industry. In order to solve the problem, the Open University launch a Managing Trainee Program as opening a new channel for breeding the new force for the industry.

A briefing session has been held in the Prudential Hotel for member hotels of the Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners. The Lecturer of the University clearly explained the content and the pros of the program. Members shown their interests on the Trainee Program.
